Talked to my advisor today to see what classes I should take for next semester. She'd lost my folder with all the information about the classes that had transferred over here from Gillette, so I was going to end up taking 2 of the classes again. No way. I found out on the school's website that I had taken those classes, so now instead of graduating in December of '06, I'll be able to graduate in May of '06, a whole semester early. Thank God. I can't wait to get out of this place.
All I have to do is switch some classes around that I was going to take next year to next semester, take 2 classes in the summer, and ta da. One semester earlier than expected. And summer classes won't be a problem 'cause I'm staying here this summer. No biggie. Only 6 credits. That will be weird, for sure. But nice, and I'll still be able to work full time in the summer as usual.
I really like my new room arrangement. I think it opens the room up more, and just looks better. Seems to be some more floor space, and just flows better. I think over Christmas break I'm going to have to have my sister come up here and see it because she keeps asking about pictures, and they just don't do it justice, and the last time she saw it, it was full of someone else's stuff lol.
This is just a journal about me. My friends, my family, work, and mostly about my life. I write this to keep my family and friends updated with what is going on in my life now that I live two states away from them.

*Doo doo doo*
Today, Biology was canceled today! YAY. Except It was my only class all day and I had to get up only to find out it was canceled. Oh well.
A weird thing, however, is that I think I saw my first ex-boyfriend, Ross. Who's married and living in Gillette with his wife...So I don't know what was going on. We looked at eachother, but there wasn't a hint of recognition for him. And I wasn't sure if it was him or not. Then I saw him two other times, once coming down some stairs, and once walking back to the parking lot outside the building. I stuck my head out the door and shouted at him, but he didn't even twitch. So umm, I don't know if it was him or not. I'll have to send him an email or something and see if he was over here signing up for classes or something. Just strikes me as weird. Maybe it's 'cause of the glasses he didn't recognize me...
Bought a toaster, but forgot to get cinnamon and sugar for cinnamon toast. *Sigh*
Also, I need to stop watching the Animal Planet because it makes me miss my kitty and makes me want to go out and get one of my own. Or steal mine.

Redecoration
Today's Pooch Cafe'
So I decided to go with plan number one because it would give me the most floor space and I could do it completely on my own because with the second one I'd have to have someone help me move my fridge to the other end of the room. And I didn't really feel like doing that at the time.
But in two or three months, I probably will do that. Because I can't have my room be the same for too long. Also, it keeps me from being too much of a pack rat because I always end up throwing a lot of stuff away when I move stuff around because I just need to do it. I'm getting better at not keeping every little thing I run across, and I think I'm getting better at organizing the stuff I do have. Even if it's rearranging the pictures on the wall lol. Anything helps. I even hung up my old license plates that I have yet to turn into purses. Looks kinda rustic.
Dad sent me some homemade summer sausage and homemade salsa on Monday in the mail, and it got here today. The sausage was really good, but I don't have any chips yet for the salsa, so I'll have to do that tomorrow or something. He says it turned out pretty good, so I'm excited to try it. He's a great cook.

Hair
I wish I had really dark brown to black hair, so that when my hair started to turn grey, I would either get this really pretty salt and pepper hair, or silver streaks in my dark hair. I think that's so pretty. Like Emmylou Harris.
Time for a change
Okay. So I'm tired of the way my room is set up and I'm ready to rearrange furniture. Fortunately I've done this enough times at my own home that I'm pretty good at it, even taking apart my gigantic bed. The only problem is that with such a small space to work with, I can only do a few different things.
So, the very bottom picture is what my apartment currently looks like. As you can tell, my bed is the biggest peice there. The dresser and baker's rack are the same size, so they're pretty much interchangeable, as long as I can still see the TV (it has to sit on one or the other).
The fridge is really really heavy, so I'd have to get some people in here to help me move it if I wanted to go with Plan number two. Plan number one only changes my bed, table, and desk around, so that would be more than easy, but not a real big change.
I know they're hard to see, but the pieces are: Bed (biggest thing in there), Dresser and Baker's Rack (same size, currently next to eachother by the fridge), Fridge (kitty corner to bed, square-shaped), Table (bigger square), and Desk (longer than dresser and baker's rack). A little confusing, and a little confining.
Any input as to which is better, #1 or #2, would be fantastic. :) Thanks!
